Rallycross Championship
In joint partnership with PWR Group, SET designed and manufactured the PWR RX1e full electric Rallycross cars for CE Dealer Team’s use in FIA World Rallycross Championship. SET is responsible for CE Dealer Team’s sporting and operational services.




In joint partnership with Loenbro Motorsport, SET joined the Nitrocross NEXT grid with two FC2 cars with Tommi Hallman and Micheal Leach as drivers.

SET brought back to life a 10 year old Rallycross car originally built by M-Sport in 2013. With SET’s further development, major updates done and experience from the sport the team ended winning the European Championship title with Anton Marklund as driver.




SET continued the development of the Hyundai i20 Supercar and ended up winning the European Championship title with Anton Marklund as driver.





In joint partnership with Loenbro Motorsports, SET competed in Nitro RX in the USA with Steve Arpin as driver.



SET designed and manufactured its first racing simulators. These simulators were also used by official SET Esports drivers
Tommi Hallman and Jonne Ollikainen, to win the Teams’ title in iRacing Rallycross World Championship in 2021.



In 2020, SET organised two rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Kouvola Finland. The event was appreciated - even though it was organised on a record-breaking schedule and during challenging Covid19 times.

2018 SET competed in the FIA European Rallycross Championship and ended up winning the title with Reinis Nitiss as driver.




In joint partnership with Grönholm RX (GRX), SET developed and manufactured a Hyundai i20 Supercar based on factory-built Hyundai i20 WRC rally car, and was in charge of the Teams operation in the FIA World Rallycross Championship for four years.
The team achieved 19 podiums with drivers Niclas Grönholm, Timur Timerzyanov, Reinis Nitiss, Joni Wiman, Kristzian Szabo & Juha Rytkönen.





SET created a professional grassroots rallycross training programme for young drivers with the intention of creating something that had never been done before in rallycross.

All participants were equipped with identical, factory-built race cars, coached and trained in all aspects of what it takes to win, and at the end of the season the Champion received a free seat in the European Rallycross Championship.



Over the three years of the program, more than 50 drivers from all over the world participated in this unique Academy and benefited from training by the top rallycross coaches.


SET was one of the first two teams to join the Supercar Lites field 2012 in GRC Lites in USA. SET won immediately the title with Joni Wiman as driver. SET stayed as part of the sport’s successful feeder category for eight years, with several drivers such as Jami Kalliomäki, Sami-Matti Trogen, Simon Syversen, Tommi Hallman, Jonne Ollikainen and Troy Dowel.

After winning several championships with the Clio Super 1600 , SET developed the Renault Twingo Super 1600. The car was immediately fast and successful. SET won two European Championship titles with it, with Andreas Bakkerud and Janis Baumanis as drivers.





2013 SET brought the Renault Twingo R2 to Finnish Rally Championship.



SET competed in Finnish Rally Championship with factory-made Renault Clio R3. The period was rewarded with two Championship titles with Kalle Pinomäki as driver.



2008 SET returned to the Finnish Rally Championship and competed in the SM1 category with Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX.

SET was the first Team to introduce the Renault Clio Super 1600 in Rallycross. The optimization from rally to rallycross was done by SET’s engineers in co-operation with Renault Sport. The period rewarded the team with four European Championship titles with Jussi Pinomäki (2008), Timur Timerzyanov (2010), Andreas Bakkerud (2011) & Reinis Nitiss (2013) as drivers.





2006-2007 SET competed in the Junior World Rally Championship with Renault Clio R3 with Kalle Pinomäki as driver.

SET was one the 1st to convert Renault Clio group N rally car into Rallycross Division 2. The work was done in close collaboration with Renault Sport and resulted in two European Championship titles (2004 & 2005) with
Jussi Pinomäki as driver.



2003-2005 SET competed in the Finnish Rally Championship with Renault Clio gr. N, and won one title (2005) and two Championship podiums with Kalle Pinomäki as driver.
