Set Promotion was founded by Jussi and Kalle Pinomäki at the beginning of 2003 in order to contest in European Rallycross Championship as well as in different International Rally Championships.

SET is one of the most successful teams in history of rallycross, with winning experience in different categories of World Rallycross Championship, European Rallycross Championship, as well as Supercar Lites in Global Rallycross Championship.

Many of todays biggest stars in rallycross have started their international career with SET, including Andreas Bakkerud, Joni Wiman, Reinis Nitiss and Timur Timerzyanov.

Today, the team based in Turku Finland, competes in World RX Supercars, Euro RX Super1600 and RX 2.
